Adam lived and worked in Japan for almost 15 years before returning back to the Pacific Northwest to start his own consulting firm. In November of 2017, he made his first trip to Spectrum mine and became friends with some of the experienced miners, who introduced him to the Oregon Sunstone industry and to faceting. Adam quickly developed a passion for faceting Oregon Sunstone and is a member of the United States Faceters Guild and the Columbia Willamette Faceters Guild. He also exhibits at major mineral shows and sells rough and cut sunstones in Japan.
I was born and raised in Boring, Oregon and had a collection of tumbled clear sunstones growing up. As a faceter and artist, Oregon Sunstone offers more creative license than any other material. Every stone is unique and a challenge.
